Class Descriptions
Basics
All levels are welcome to experience this class that focuses on breathing and fundamental postures. This slower paced class requires no prior yoga
experience.
Bliss
Designed to create freedom of movement in the hips, shoulders, and spine, bliss combines slow, deep, sustained postures with breath and focus. Beneficial
for all students and a great practice for balancing the more physical yoga classes.
Community Class
This is an hour and fifteen minute, multi-level, slow flow class with an emphasis on alignment. The class is offered at a discounted rate ($5) in the spirit of karma yoga, selfless-service. Join us for your lunch hour and enjoy the benefits of yoga throughout the the rest of your day!
Flow
A vinyasa style class for the experienced student. Flow requires students to use the breath to move through a rigorous series of postures. Challenging
back-bends, inversions, and standing and seated postures are integrated to create seamless motion and to encourage breath awareness.
*Note: Flow class is two hours long.
Kundalini
An ancient science of yoga incorporating specific exercises, breathing techniques, music, and meditations. Call Har Sharan for more info at 404-8199.
Multi-Level
A blend of all studio classes. This class emphasizes alignment and will build strength and flexibility. All levels welcome.
Restorative
Restorative yoga offers a wide array of benefits for all students. The support of bolsters, blankets, straps, and other props allow one to move into a
practice of effortless ease and deep stillness. Restorative yoga is a gateway to deep relaxation, healing and the cultivation of mindfulness. These techniques
